The Dupaco CCU project involved a complete remodel of the historic Caradco Building No. 24. Our scope of work included structural steel for a new rooftop penthouse, floor support steel, and a stair tower extending from the ground level to the penthouse. Additionally, we fabricated and installed an ornamental staircase with a glass railing. The new stair tower was constructed within the building’s original freight elevator shaft, requiring multiple site visits to precisely measure the existing brick walls and ensure a seamless fit for the stairs.
